I'm a crotchety 50-something-year-old who has been building websites — mostly for non-profit organizations — since 1998. It feels a lot longer than that, if possible. I dunno, time is an illusion.
Before that I mostly served delicious coffee drinks to make ends meet while I was playing drums for a bunch of bands in Eugene, Seattle, and Cincinnati. Ohio is also an illusion.
My partner of nearly 30 years and I live with our two dogs in Maryland. The kids (of which there are two) have flown the coop and are building lives of their own out in the world. We delight in their company and assure you that both kids are quite real. They even drop by occasionally. That said, they are rather illusory when waiting for them to respond to a text message.
